An experienced internal medicine physician, Dr. Mirwais Amoni earned a doctor of medicine with high honors from the Ross University School of Medicine. Dr. Mirwais Amoni also holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Texas Health Science Center and a bachelor’s degree from the University of the Pacific.
This academic foundation prepared Dr. Amoni for his work in internal medicine, critical care, and hospital-based care. He completed internal medicine training at the University of Connecticut Health Center and Kaiser Permanente Hospital before moving into attending physician roles in California. His experience has included ICU and CCU care, inpatient management, and coordination with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Over the course of nearly two decades, Dr. Mirwais Amoni has worked at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto, San Ramon Regional Medical Center, Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, and Napa State Hospital. At the latter facility, he led an acute medical unit serving geriatric psychiatric patients with complex medical needs. His responsibilities included medical assessments, chronic disease management, and coordination with specialists and nursing staff.
Dr. Amoni is now developing a physician-led longevity and wellness practice. His current professional interests include preventive medicine, fitness, nutrition, metabolic health, healthy aging, and individualized wellness planning.
